Hypnagogia – What does it mean?

It is a Mental State that is the Key to Deep Self-Discovery. A trance like state in which images, colors, sounds, even dream-like stories play out in your mind. –

How the show will work

A large screen will display the photographs synched to musicwhile I perform live on stage next to it.

Each part of the show features images from different countries. Eachcountry is showcased through photography and musical pieces written specifically for that set of photos. Creating visual and aural textures that get us into that beautiful state of Hypnagogia…where all troubles disappear and we are in the flow of all that is the human experience.

As you can imagine there have been many steps in the process of this project and it took years to create! From the initial stages of the travel / photography / editing / writing the music, this has been a massive project that is very close to my heart. It has always been a true labor of love. Now ….In the final stagesWe have steps to take that are very important.

Music Mastering – To make sure we have the best and mostconsistent sound quality.

Printing and Framing – Selected pieces will be featured in printed form displayed as showcase to complement the show.

Performance – To make a show like this happen we will need the right equipment including the large screen for the visual side.

Each one of these phases is extremely daunting and requires expertise in various fields. Your participation in the project is very important to me and there are several ways to be a part of it.

Prints

The photos in their printed form will be something that can be a part of your life on a daily basis. Yours to display at your home or office. Your purchase of a print will be a big help in the phases we have in production.

The Bali Photo

$800- This beautiful piece shot in Bali Indonesia is the top tier in participation. It is also the center piece of my Bali collection. A limited series / 20 x 30 – it comes in a beautiful frame with museum glass designed in consultation with top framing art houses of Los Angeles. A massive lessons library with cutting edge curriculum used in many top drumming institutions around the world!

$600 – A selection of three prints of your choice from the Italian collection. These will be printed by a top establishment in Los Angeles. Curated by me, you will receive the print itself so that you can select a frame of your choice. These you see here are just a few from a massive collection. Direct meetings online to see the full collection.

Also a limited series and printed on the finest quality paper.

$400 – A selection of two prints from my latest collection in Florianopolis Brazil. The dreamy island was a huge inspiration photographically for me and has yielded work that I am extremely proud of. These two pieces will also be printed in Los Angeles with a selection of sizes of your choice. 20 x 30 or 8 x 10. You will receive the prints themselves for you to frame.

$200 – One 8 x10 print from any collection you wish. Sent to you again in the highest quality. Printed by the finest art house in L.A. – Along with this you will receive the music from the project. It can delivered digitally by download or USB stick.

Of course if you a drummer, you will also receive a 3 month membership to my lessons site.
